Only the Upper Shield (vertical) blocks radiation, having a 1mm lead core sealed in HDPE polymer.

All other Cardio-TRAP® components are fully radio-lucent, allowing a clear and normal fluoroscopy image.

The Rad-Guard has a 0.5mm lead core and blocks over 90% of incident radiation.
